Večerní hlášení – 1. září 2026
Slunce se dnes dál uklidňovalo. Ranní rychlost slunečního větru byla ještě přes 407 km/s, hustota 3,24 p/cm³ a Bz −2,38 nT. Solar Activity Index klesl na 2,3 a NOAA indexy na 2−. Na rentgenovém záznamu se už druhý den objevuje díra v grafu. Stejný jev jsme zde již jednou pozorovali, proto jej zatím pouze zaznamenáváme jako vlastnost záznamu, bez další interpretace.
Tomsk večer prakticky vypnul. Kolem 20. hodiny zůstala pouze zašumělá dvojlinka kolem 2 Hz se zlatým zdobením. Podobný útvar se objevil také na první harmonické, tentokrát však bez dvojlinky. Ve srovnání s předchozím večerem je to výrazný útlum aktivity.
Na Windy se na severu začíná formovat proudění. Pod Islandem jsou dvě níže, kolem kterých proudí vzduch ze severu k další níži mezi Británií a Skandinávií. Ta posílá proudění k další níži pod Grónskem a odtud dále do Evropy. Část proudění se nad Grónskem stáčí přes Kanadu do průlivu mezi Asií a Amerikou a pokračuje do Pacifiku, kde se nacházejí rozsáhlé níže pod Aljaškou. Severní proudění tak začíná získávat zřetelnější strukturu.
Blesková aktivita opět dominuje v části Atlantiku mezi oběma Amerikami. Dnes se však výrazně blýská také v západních horách USA a bouřková aktivita vytváří oblouk směrem k východnímu pobřeží.
V Evropě dnes blesky zaznamenáváme prakticky pouze v Bělorusku a na západě Ruska. Malá aktivita zůstává také v Asii – v moři mezi Japonskem a Ruskem a v menší míře v oceánu východně od Filipín.
Závěr:
Slunce se uklidňuje, Tomsk večer prakticky ztichl a severní proudění na Windy začíná dostávat jasnější strukturu. Blesková aktivita se přitom soustřeďuje výrazněji do prostoru Amerik a Atlantiku, zatímco Evropa zůstává téměř bez bouřek. Druhý den trvající výpadek rentgenového záznamu zapisujeme jako další samostatnou zvláštnost.
Co s čím souvisí, zatím nevíme. Ale obraz se mění.

Evening Report – September 1, 2026
The Sun continued to calm down today. The solar-wind speed was still above 407 km/s in the morning, with a density of 3.24 p/cm³ and Bz at −2.38 nT. The Solar Activity Index dropped to 2.3 and the NOAA indices to 2−. For the second consecutive day, a gap has appeared in the X-ray record. We have observed the same phenomenon here before, so for now we simply record it as a feature of the record, without further interpretation.
Tomsk practically switched off in the evening. Around 20:00, only a noisy double line around 2 Hz remained, decorated with the familiar golden framing. A similar structure also appeared at the first harmonic, but without the double line. Compared with the previous evening, this represents a marked decrease in activity.
On Windy, the northern flow is beginning to take shape. There are two lows below Iceland, around which air flows from the north toward another low between Britain and Scandinavia. From there, the flow continues toward another low south of Greenland and onward into Europe. Part of the flow turns over Greenland, crosses Canada toward the passage between Asia and America, and continues into the Pacific, where large lows are located south of Alaska. The northern flow is therefore beginning to acquire a clearer structure.
Lightning activity once again dominates the part of the Atlantic between the two Americas. Today, however, there is also considerable activity over the western mountain regions of the USA, with storms forming an arc toward the East Coast.
In Europe, lightning activity today is found almost exclusively over Belarus and western Russia. There is also limited activity in Asia — in the sea between Japan and Russia, and to a lesser extent over the ocean east of the Philippines.
Conclusion:
The Sun is calming down, Tomsk practically fell silent in the evening, and the northern flow on Windy is beginning to acquire a clearer structure. At the same time, lightning activity is becoming increasingly concentrated around the Americas and the Atlantic, while Europe remains almost free of storms. The X-ray record has now shown the same gap for a second consecutive day, so we record this as another separate peculiarity.
We do not yet know what is connected to what. But the picture is changing.
