Denní režim zůstal prakticky stejný a dnešek do něj nepřinesl nic, co by vyžadovalo samostatnou interpretaci. Výrazné níže rostou nad Aljaškou a Zemí Františka Josefa, menší systém je nad Východosibiřským mořem. Další velká níže leží v Pacifiku jižně od Beringovy úžiny. První místo však dnes jednoznačně získává systém u jižního pobřeží Islandu. Husté izobary kolem něj vytvořily téměř terč a celý útvar zabírá značnou část severního Atlantiku. Co? – zapisujeme. Proč? – ověřujeme. Co bude dál? – sledujeme. 😎📡🛡️

🜏 English Version 🜏

Daily Report – September 24, 2026 Sun – the Chief returns to the B-class After yesterday’s Superman appearance, today began considerably less dramatically. The Chief spent most of his time comfortably in the B-class range, only occasionally giving the drums a practice hit. In the morning, the current value was B6.73, the 24-hour maximum was C1.66 and the Solar Activity Index stood at 2.2. During the morning, a small flare of approximately C1.5–C1.6 occurred, peaking around 09:03 UTC. By evening, the Solar Activity Index had fallen to 1.9. Flare probabilities remained at 65% for C-class, 20% for M-class and 1% for X-class. Neither the X-ray nor proton flux showed any significant excursion today. Geomagnetic indices, however, were higher in the morning than they had been the previous evening – Kp and NOAA K reached 2+, later rising to 3 during the day. A much more interesting development appeared at the individual stations. During the morning, values generally remained at or below 3, but later Boulder climbed to 5, Fredericksburg to 4, Planetary to 4.5 and College all the way to 7. Values subsequently declined again, with College ending at 4. A fine contrast: the Chief upstairs was happily tapping out little B-class events and a small C, while down below College decided to produce a seven. Etna – regime unchanged Both Etna records continued the pattern seen over the past several days. The daily regime remained practically unchanged, and today brought nothing that would require a separate interpretation. Following the outage at the beginning of the month, we therefore now have several days of relatively stable continuation of the same recording pattern. Both of today’s Etna graphs are again included in the image set. And lack of change is information too. Tomsk – the blue ride continues, but the evening changes For most of the day, Tomsk continued in its current blue mode, with green noise along the fundamental frequency. The first intensification occurred between 06:00 and 08:00, followed by another at approximately 09:00–10:30. The graph then returned to blue, with only a vertical line around 18:00 standing out. In the evening, however, the picture began to change. Vertical columns of increased noise appeared: one smaller structure accompanied by a golden cloud at the fundamental frequency, approximately half an hour wide, followed by another short white column extending through the full height of the graph. And from midnight onward, a waterfall reaching approximately 36 Hz developed. A day that began as another chapter of the blue ride therefore ended quite differently. Tomsk is captured in both of today’s image sets. Cumiana – one eruption and then nothing again Cumiana remained almost completely clean throughout the day. The exception was a short interval lasting roughly twenty minutes after 03:00, when a sudden eruption extended across the full height of the graph. The record then settled again, and only small flames remained on the afternoon graph. After several extremely quiet days, Cumiana therefore reminded us briefly that the gas supply has not been disconnected entirely. 😂 Windy – the Atlantic is getting crowded The atmospheric situation across the Northern Hemisphere continues to become denser. Pronounced low-pressure systems are developing over Alaska and Franz Josef Land, with a smaller system over the East Siberian Sea. Another large low lies in the Pacific south of the Bering Strait. But first place today clearly belongs to the system near the southern coast of Iceland. Dense isobars around it have formed something resembling a target, and the entire structure occupies a substantial part of the North Atlantic. Too many isobars to count. The Chief may have been blowing only gently today, but the atmosphere apparently brought its own supplies. 😎 Lightning – scattered across the map Lightning activity was more widely dispersed today. In the Americas, thunderstorms remained over the Atlantic and formed an approximate diagonal from Mexico towards Canada. In Europe, the Black Sea and southern Russia were the main areas of activity during the morning. By afternoon, the Balkans and Austria had joined in. The strongest thunderstorm activity today appeared in North Africa. Asia, by contrast, did not form a single dominant band as it did yesterday. There were many individual storms, but no major common concentration. Markets Compared with the geomagnetic developments, the markets were considerably less dramatic. The BDI barely moved during the day, from 3432 to 3430. VIX increased from 15.18 to 15.63, while Fear & Greed remained at 35 – Fear. Conclusion – a day of contrasts September 24 began inconspicuously. The Sun remained predominantly in the B-class range with one small C-class flare, both Etnas stayed in their familiar regime, Tomsk was blue and Cumiana almost empty. During the day, however, the picture began moving in several different directions. Solar activity remained low, while local geomagnetic indices strengthened significantly and College briefly reached 7. At the same time, the solar wind accelerated from 332 to 401 km/s. Tomsk maintained its blue regime for most of the day, but by evening began producing vertical structures, followed by the waterfall. Cumiana, in contrast, offered only one short morning eruption. The atmospheric picture on Windy continued to thicken, while thunderstorms were scattered across several continents. This therefore gives us a good example of a day when the individual systems do not all move in the same direction. And that is precisely why there is no reason to force them into a single common story. For now, we know what happened. We still do not know why. What? – We record. Why? – We verify. What comes next? – We watch. Yesterday Superman. Today College at 7, the Icelandic target, and Tomsk turning on the waterfall at the end of the shift. So once again, boredom failed to arrive. 😎📡 You are not getting rid of us that easily. 😎📡🛡️
