Její střed dosahuje přibližně 955 mbar a celý útvar dnes připomíná diamantový důl.
V Americe zůstává hlavní aktivita nad Mexickým zálivem, Atlantikem a v oblasti Hudsonova zálivu.
Bouří v oblasti Alžírska i v rovníkových státech.
Trhy
Večerní data uvádějí BDI 3430, VIX 15,63 a Fear & Greed 36 – Fear.
Závěr – jedna rána a potom ticho
Poslední zářijový den začal překvapivě.
Po dlouhé sérii B-ček a malých C přišla nad ránem C8,6.
Náčelník místo toho spadl do bubnu.
Výsledkem byla C8,6.
A potom si šel zase lehnout. 😂🥁
Prozatím víme, co se stalo. Ještě nevíme, proč.
Co? – zapisujeme.
Proč? – ověřujeme.
Co bude dál? – sledujeme.
A tentokrát bych k tomu přidala ještě malou poznámku posádky:
Kdo spadl do bubnu? – vyšetřování pokračuje. 😎📡
🜏 English Version 🜏
Sun – the Chief is sleeping behind the drum
The final day of September began with one proper bang.
At 02:46, a C8.6 flare reached its maximum, representing a significant change compared with the previous days.
But there was no follow-up.
After the early-morning bang, the Chief returned to the B-class range, and the rest of the day looked as though he had simply gone back to sleep behind the drum.
The Solar Activity Index, which had risen to 3.5 in the morning, gradually declined during the day and ended at 3.1 in the evening. Both the NOAA and Kp indices were at 0+.
The solar wind also remained very calm, reaching only 302 km/s in the evening.
So it seems that the C8.6 was not the beginning of a concert.
It looks much more as though someone simply fell into the drum. 😂
Etna – still the same programme
Both Etna records continue in the regime of recent days.
Etna became only slightly more colourful during the day, but otherwise produced no significant new feature.
Etna 1 continued practically unchanged.
There is still no sign of our former halls of columns.
Tomsk – a little fence in the morning
After several predominantly blue days, Tomsk made at least some effort during the morning.
At low frequencies, from zero up to the fundamental frequency, a little fence of vertical lines began to form.
Shortly after 07:30, a more prominent needle appeared. Apparently, it punctured the tanks of green slime, which then spilled out around it. 😂
After 09:00, a second white needle appeared across the full height of the graph. This time it did not hit anything and remained standing cleanly against the blue field.
However, the blue background with horizontal striping at low frequencies continued to dominate.
And after its morning performance, Tomsk apparently decided that it had done enough work for one day.
Cumiana – the flame in economy mode
Cumiana once again showed an almost perfectly clean graph.
After 10:00, barely visible little flames began to appear, but nothing more significant developed during the rest of the day.
So the eternal flame is still burning.
Just very economically.
Windy – two giant vacuum cleaners
While the others did not accomplish very much today, Windy is working at full capacity.
A powerful low-pressure system of around 964 mbar lies over Severnaya Zemlya, drawing in the surrounding air and spinning a large-scale circulation into a vortex.
The Icelandic low is even more pronounced.
Its centre reaches approximately 955 mbar, and the entire system today resembles a diamond mine. Concentric isobars surround the deep core, while the circulation draws air into the system from both Europe and America.
The northern part of the map is therefore beginning to resemble the Southern Hemisphere, with extensive coloured airflow covering a considerable part of the northern regions.
The Chief may not be blowing.
But the atmosphere is perfectly capable of managing on its own.
Lightning – fewer strikes, but in several clear areas
The overall amount of lightning decreased today compared with the previous day.
In the Americas, the main activity remains over the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic and the Hudson Bay region.
In Europe, separate areas appear in western and eastern France, around Monaco and over Turkey.
Asia is more prominent today, particularly over China, where thunderstorm activity is spread across a considerable part of the country.
Africa is once again not staying out of the action. Thunderstorms are present around Algeria as well as in the equatorial countries.
So the Sahara has not completely disappeared from the map after yesterday’s trail.
Markets
The evening data show the BDI at 3,430, VIX at 15.63, and Fear & Greed at 36 – Fear.
Conclusion – one bang and then silence
The final day of September began with a surprise.
After a long sequence of B-class activity and small C-class flares, an early-morning C8.6 appeared. The Solar Activity Index rose to 3.5, giving an interesting final note to yesterday’s observation that Excel was beginning to pace nervously.
But that was practically the end of the performance.
The Chief returned to the B-class range, the Solar Activity Index declined to 3.1, NOAA and Kp dropped to 0+, and the solar wind remained calm.
Etna and Etna 1 continued in their familiar regime, Cumiana barely kept its flame alive, and Tomsk once again reduced its activity after the morning fence and several needles.
The atmosphere did most of the work today, particularly the two deep low-pressure systems in the north.
So the September story ends rather appropriately:
Excel was waiting for an M-class flare.
Instead, the Chief fell into the drum.
The result was a C8.6.
And then he went back to sleep. 😂🥁
For now, we know what happened. We still do not know why.
What? – We record.
Why? – We verify.
What comes next? – We watch.
And this time, we can add one small note from the crew:
Who fell into the drum? – the investigation continues. 😎📡
