Pictures create reality

Iconic pictures can shape how events are seen.
The kiss shown above, whether real or staged, caught the mood of nations in a moment, and remains one of the best known icons of WW2.
Vietnam became a war told through pictures.
The little girl running from a napalm attack (when the US did use chemical weapons by the way) seared the souls of a generation and played a huge part in the enormous anti war movement.

We won't add to the current hypocrisy by sharing further the distressing pictures of dead children in Syria.
But we will ask, along with Luke Rudkowski why these pictures are shown, but those of children killed in the subsequent Trump authorised raid, or the many bombings (UK and USA supplied armaments) in the Yemen are not.

If this is – as it appears to be – propaganda manipulation prior to a conflict with Russia, we should be aware.

And we should say, loud and clear - NO
